we all have someone in our lives who can elicit that elusive smile which seems gone forever in times of despair...
There aren't many in mine but the ones present are absolute sweethearts,of that I'm assured...
the above pic  has two proofs....my 7 year old twin cousins-Dimpy and Monty....

my fb status update dated 5th jan,2010-'Damn u discovery..damn u animal planet...courtesy u two,my 7 yr old niece thinks i'm a 'crocodile' jst bcoz I laze around in the sun...nd the naughty girl that she is,she's christened me 'croco bhaiyya'..nd guess wat??..I'm lovin every bit f it ;)....
I needn't tell you who the naughty girl was...do I??
thats not all-she's also taught me the importance of colors and has given me a chance to understand human psychology better through this....an absolute angel

for Monty,I'm his best bro just bcoz I brought him some PC games....the peck on the cheek was the first I've had in a long,long time...(now come on!!don't get ideas)....how innocent!!

In the pic,they are ready for their first day to school....monty's sulking and dimpy's as effervescent as ever....

As I pen these lines,my facebook &  twitter timelines are flooded with updates about how ‘The Dark Knight rises’ has finally given a fitting finale to the World’s most loved superhero… However,for someone who’s waited so eagerly for the final movie in Nolan’s Batman trilogy,my mind’s been strangely pre-occupied.. At 10 in the morning,surfing through news to bide my time through attendance,the headline of Rajesh khanna’s demise had little effect on me..I had never been a Rajesh Khanna fan,my tryst with his movies restricted to some of his lesser known movies & only a few of his classics.. In hindsight,I’d say my sensibilities at that age just weren’t good enough to appreciate ‘Classic Bollywood’… How could I??...My parents were still in college when ‘KAKA’ was at the height of his unparalleled career…Having witnessed the hysteria & frenzy he generated in those days ,(something which led to the epithet ‘superstar’ being coined & used first time for a Bollywood star)

A long hiatus it has been ....part lazy,part busy,part distressed…its all been happening in the previous month or so…what you are about to read was started a month ago during vacations and lying unfinished ever since…so what made me finally take it up??..Time??..nah!!..I’ve always had enough time to scribble...Just that I needed to write this time to get some peace,a feeling which nothing but writing gives me … _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ __ _ _ Mood-thoughtful / confused….okkay!!..I’ll go with ‘confused’ Whats on??- 6 monthly 15 day vacations…. hiiiiii(jacker). .......try singing it....... hiiiii(jacker) ...funny??...I know its not but then the guy 4 whom it was made wasn't either.. STRIKE 1 - "hi!i'm capt. Dhiresh Chandra 4m the merchant navy,father of Lt. Niraj chandra". ...I looked up and saw a portly,stout man.White beard and glasses in place. A huge belly and heavily strapped legs gave me some indication of his problems. "hello sir!i'm med cadet hitesh 4m AFMC". ...pleasantaries exchanged,he proceeded 2 his bed.
